delta omicron lambda charitable foundation
The Delta Omicron Lambda Charitable Foundation (DOL Foundation) is dedicated to uplifting the communities of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. We strive to support area youth in their efforts to move onward and upwards through academic achievement and service to their community. The DOL Foundation supports students across the Eastern Shore via the Brother Charles J. Laws Annual Scholarship, the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Men of Color in Education/High School Teacher University Book Scholarship, and by participating in events whose purpose is to assist the efforts of residents to achieve higher social, economic, and intellectual status.

“Manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind,” are the aims of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
The Delta Omicron Lambda Charitable Foundation recognizes the importance of
both education and service. Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?”
The Brother Charles J. Laws Scholarship is named after an Alpha man who has devoted over 70 years of service and advocacy to the Eastern Shore community. The $500 scholarship was created by the members of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Delta Omicron Lambda Chapter, seated in Princess Anne, Maryland, to support students who excel in both service and academics.
